The grave of Greyfriars Bobby is the first memorial you see upon entering the Kirkyard.  This is our usual meeting place (Mary, Queen of Scots tour meets in front of the Museum of Scotland and the Victorian tour meets in front of the John Knox House on the High Street). Waverley Station is ten minutes walk away.  The Museum of Scotland is a free attraction with superb exhibitions, good options for lunch/snacks and well- maintained toilets.
